A Life Shaped by Intentional Connection

Dr. Martha Swirzinski's path into mentoring grew out of a deep conviction that relationships are at the heart of all meaningful growth. Early in her career, she recognized that the most lasting learning rarely happens in a classroom alone. It happens in the conversations, the encouragement, and the honest investment one person makes in another.

With over 16 years in higher education, Dr. Swirzinski has worked as a professor and instructional designer, always with a particular focus on the human side of learning: how people grow, how they connect, and how the right relationship at the right moment can change the entire trajectory of a life.

In 2018, she joined the women's mentoring ministry, a vibrant community of women investing in one another across generations, professions, and life stages. What began as a local initiative has become a model for how organizations and communities can build lasting cultures of mentoring, not as a program to be managed, but as a way of being together.

What I Believe

Relationships are the curriculum.

The most transformative learning happens not in classrooms or conferences, but in the space between two people who are genuinely present with each other.

Mentoring is for everyone.

You don't need a formal program or a perfect match. You need intention, generosity, and the willingness to show up consistently for another person.

Growth requires community.

We were not designed to develop in isolation. The organizations, churches, and communities that thrive are those that invest in the connections between their people.

Every season has something to offer.

Whether you are early in your journey or decades in, you have wisdom worth sharing and growth still ahead. Mentoring works in both directions.

Women's Mentoring Ministry

Building Community Since 2018

Since 2018, Dr. Swirzinski has been an active leader in a women's mentoring ministry built on a simple conviction: that women grow best when they grow together. What began as a small gathering has expanded into a community of women who meet regularly, share their stories, and invest intentionally in one another's lives. The ministry is living proof that when you create the conditions for connection, remarkable things happen
